Waterford Info: The location of Waterford perhaps best known for the world famous 'Waterford Crystal' that is produced here, the location of Waterford does actually have more to off than just that. The location is home to Waterford airport which is now becoming a major airport hub in Ireland as more people tend to visit the location than before.

Waterford is also home to a handful of delightful fishing villages and holiday resorts, and perhaps the best known of these is Tramore. The town of Waterford is still a busy harbour town and it can become cramped during high season as more and more tourists begin to discover the location. However Waterford does have it's own sights to see and one such sight is to visit the Waterford Crystal factory for the guided tour to see how the glass cutting and crystal is made, a truly awe inspiring sight.

There are also other sights scattered around, sights such as; Reginald's Tower, the Waterford Museum of Treasures are both worth visiting, as is the harbour for a calming walk.

If you want to venture out of the town then a trip to Tramore has to be the best place to go here, a popular tourist location.

Tramore: Located approx 6 miles S of Waterford on the R675 road.
A beautiful town, Tramore is now one of Ireland's premier resorts offering a huge array of tourist and holiday amusements it has an extensive fun park here. Tramore also has a sandy beach of approx 3 miles long, a nice promenade and good fishing and boating can also be found here.
The town is also home to the Tramore races which are a popular event and the traditional festival race meeting can make the town busy! so be prepaired for a busy time here!
